**The Opportunity**:We are seeking diligent and reliable **Dishwashers / Stewards**to join our essential Back-of-House team at the newly revitalized 1939. You will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness across our kitchen and service areas, directly contributing to the smooth operation of our multi-concept venue. **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Dishwashing**:Operate commercial dishwashing machines and/or hand wash all dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils quickly and thoroughly.
- **Kitchen & Area Cleanliness**:Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dishwashing area, kitchen floors, walls, and equipment. Sweep and mop floors as needed.
- **Equipment Care**:Ensure all kitchen equipment (e.g., ovens, stoves, counters) is cleaned and sanitized according to established schedules and standards.
- **Waste Management**:Manage waste disposal and recycling effectively, ensuring bins are emptied regularly.
- **Stock Organization**:Assist in organizing and storing clean dishes, equipment, and supplies in their proper locations.
- **Support & Collaboration**:Work closely with the culinary and service teams to ensure a continuous flow of clean items, supporting overall operational efficiency.
- **Adherence to Standards**:Comply strictly with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (SFA guidelines).

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- No prior experience is necessary; a positive attitude and willingness to work hard are key.
- Ability to work efficiently and reliably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail regarding cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy items as required.
- A team player with a strong work ethic.
