**About the role**:
As our talented **User Experience (UX) Designer **, you'll be ultimately responsible for ensuring that the Walnut Coding platform offers an intuitive customer experience.

**What you will be doing**:

- Helping to set up scalable processes and managing project teams required to ensure our customers receive a best-in-class intuitive experience.
- Supporting our Product/Engineering teams in defining and evolving the product roadmap as we release iteratively.
- Facilitating User/Customer Research to qualitative and quantitative data to understand where we can offer increased customer value
- Contribute to growing our design culture where user experience is integral to achieving business goals and product outcomes that delight our customers
- Ensure the voice of our users is at the heart of everything we do by developing deep data-driven user insight and understanding
- Rapidly design and prototype solutions (wireframes, workflows, prototypes, journeys) and use them to generate understand and drive delivery within product teams

**Who are You?**
- Strong commercial experience as a UX Designer, ideally within a B2C industry, preferably with start-up experience.
- Prior commercial experience conducting User / Customer Research in gathering insightful qualitative and quantitative data. Competency in obtaining requirements/understanding user’s needs using UX testing, product analytics, surveys, interviews, data analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis.
- Prior experience working/leading cross-functional project team and helping establish best-in-class UX processes from problem to delivered solution. The ability to show evidence of collaboration and problem-solving experience as part of a strong portfolio that showcases your design work is preferred.
- A great understanding of defining and understanding UX Metrics and prior experience defining and understanding customer personas
- Experience with product experimentation methodologies, lean design and ways to measure success. Experience of working with and maintaining design systems. And knowledge of UI design software such as Figma, Sketch and Invision is a plus.
