Singapore Red Dot Design Museum Full time

The Red Dot Design Museum is an important communication centre for design and platform for Red Dot winners to showcase their winning designs. Other than the exhibitions, it has a Museum Shop and online store that retails curated design products sourced from all over the world, and an adjoining Museum Cafe that serves local snacks and coffee.

You will be part of a team that provides customer service to the visitors and customers that visit the Red Dot Design Museum, Museum Shop and Cafe.
- Handle visitor and customer requests/enquiries and deliver excellent customer service
- Provide information about the museum exhibitions and activities to visitors
- Manage the Museum ticketing system
- Manage the daily operations of both shop, museum and cafe, including opening and closing duties
- Constantly check on exhibits and shop merchandise display to ensure the best presentation
- Handle the POS and actively promote shop merchandise to customers
- Work with Operations Manager to manage shop and cafe inventory and product display
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of museum, shop and cafe
- Handle operations at the cafe including preparation of food such as coffee, cakes and light bites and serve them to customers

**Job Requirements**:
As a Customer Service and Retail Personnel, this person represents the museum and shop and it is crucial that he/she processes the following qualities:

- Positive disposition
- Responsible and resourceful
- Has a strong interest for the service and retail industry and process a passion in delivering quality and professional customer service

**Note**:
Due to the nature of this job, he/she needs to be able to:

- Work weekends and retail hours
- Handle non-halal food as the cafe serves alcohol and food containing pork

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary, Fresh graduate, Student job

**Salary**: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
