- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance and scalable backend systems for our e-commerce platform.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend engineers, and data scientists, to define technical requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
- Architect and implement solutions that optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing guidance and support to the engineering team.
- Lead and mentor a team of 20+ engineers, fostering their growth and providing technical guidance and support.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our platform's capabilities.
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintaining high code quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of development processes and workflows, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and coordination.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong track record of building scalable and high-performance systems.
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages, such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience leading a team of 20+ technically, demonstrating exceptional leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies and the ability to collaborate with frontend engineers.
- Extensive knowledge of distributed systems and large-scale data processing frameworks.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and the ability to drive agile practices within the team.
