**Infrastructure System Engineer**
Job Title: Infrastructure System Engineer
Work Location: Jurong East, Singapore
**About the Job**
**Primary Responsibilities**:
1. Work in a multi-disciplinary team to develop a Smart City Operating System
2. Design, plan, implement, administer and operate system and network infrastructure
3. Take part in tenders, design reviews, engagement of key project stakeholders, management of system operations as well as system testing and performance analysis
4. Recommend architectural standards, reference models and guidelines for security, resiliency and efficiency
5. Evaluate and recommend system and network technologies that meet users’ needs and keeping in touch with the industry development
7. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the corporation.
**Job Requirements**:
1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, IT or related field.
2. About 5 years of relevant working experience in systems / network design and implementation.
3. Good technical knowledge and experience with major cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS. Experience with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) will be an added advantage.
4. Good technical knowledge and experience with major hypervisor technologies such as Nutanix, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware.
5. Managing and supporting complex server environment with understanding in TCP/IP, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, RedHat Enterprise Linux.
6. Knowledge in IT Infrastructure deployment and operations (i.e. IT Networks, Communications, Cybersecurity, and Data Centre Management), Infra Support and Cybersecurity Operations.
7. Managing data centre equipment and use of management tools to monitor service metrics.
8. Good understanding in Software Application development (i.e. SDLC, DevOps, Agile Development etc.).
9. Good understanding of prevailing technologies and technology markets.
10. Good communication skills, system thinking and systematic problem-solving skills.
11. Able to work with the team or independently with minimum supervision.
12. Self-motivated and eager to learn.
13. Able to adapt to changing environments.
