Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to procurement, inventory, and material management processes.
- Solution Design: Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and SAP MM system configurations. Propose appropriate solutions that align with best practices and meet business objectives.
- SAP MM Configuration: Configure SAP MM module based on the approved design, including material types, material groups, purchasing organizations, procurement methods, and inventory management settings.
- Material Master Data Management: Ensure accurate and consistent management of material master data, including material creation, classification, and maintenance.
- Procurement Processes: Design and optimize procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, request for quotations, contracts, and source determination.
- Inventory Management: Implement efficient inventory management processes, including stock movements, stock transfers, physical inventory, and material valuation methods.
- Vendor Management: Define and set up vendor master data, evaluate vendor performance, and establish effective communication with suppliers to ensure a smooth procurement process.
- Invoice Verification: Configure and manage the invoice verification process, including three-way matching of invoices with purchase orders and goods receipts.
- Integration and Testing: Collaborate with other SAP functional teams (such as SD, FI, and PP) to ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other modules.Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Training and Documentation: Provide training to end-users on SAP MM processes and functionalities. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations and processes.
- Support and Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving day-to-day SAP MM issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide timely support to end-users.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAP MM features and functionalities, industry best practices, and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as an SAP MM Functional Consultant, implementing and supporting SAP MM solutions.
- Strong understanding of SAP MM module functionalities and integration with other SAP modules.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with various procurement strategies, material valuation methods, and inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in SAP MM configuration and knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing project deliverables within defined timelines.
- SAP certification in SAP MM (optional but advantageous).
