AIG Underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, and Multinational Clients. We are reimagining how we help customers to manage risk, transforming our operating model and reshaping our role responsibilities and career pathways. The goal is to unlock the full potential in each colleague - empowering our people to grow as insurance professionals and add more value to our customers and AIG.

How you will create an impact

This role will allow you to establish relationships with producers and develop a reputation with peers and in the market. You will be managing your own portfolio of accounts and developing business opportunities.

Underwriting of Casualty lines in accordance to underwriting authority These include WICA, Public/Products Liability, Environmental Impairment Liability and Product Recall.
Day to day servicing of existing portfolio - both renewals and new business.
Manage referrals to management to support underwriting decisions and actions.
Prioritize workload to achieve internal and external deadlines.
Striving to meet profit center and personal financial targets.
Develop and maintain relationships with Agent and Broker producers.
Identify business opportunities and convert ideas to reality through product development and enhancement.
Work with other Departments across AIG to achieve corporate objectives.
Build on the Company profile in the market.
Proactively keep up to date with industry and business issues.

Experience in Casualty lines are not a must but preferred.
