Finance Analyst

Kiztopia is a successful start-up and the biggest indoor children playground in Singapore We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to join our finance team in Singapore. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in providing accurate financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve the overall financial performance of the organization. You will be responsible for examining financial data, generating reports, and collaborating with various departments to ensure optimal financial planning and resource allocation.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, including revenue, expenses, and budget variances. Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks to assist in making informed financial decisions.
- Collaborate with HODs to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual monthly financial performance against forecasts and budgets, investigating and explaining any significant variances. Identify early warning signs and propose corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and present accurate and comprehensive financial reports to management and stakeholders. Develop financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and communicate financial performance.
- Analyze cost structures and provide recommendations for cost optimization and efficiency improvements. Identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
- Build and maintain financial models to assess potential investments, business scenarios, and strategic initiatives. Conduct sensitivity analysis to evaluate different financial outcomes.
- Monitor financial trends and industry developments to provide insights into the competitive landscape and potential business opportunities.
- Organize and maintain financial databases, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Collaborate with various departments, such as sales, operations, and marketing, to gather financial data and support them in achieving their financial objectives.

Business Partnering
- Partner closely with project managers to develop and manage project budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor project expenses, revenue recognition, and cost allocation to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Prepare regular project financial reports and dashboards for project managers and senior management. Ensure that financial information is clear, accurate, and relevant to support project decision-making.
- Evaluate the financial performance of completed projects and provide post-project financial analysis. Identify key success factors and lessons learned to optimize future project performance.

Consolidation and Reporting
- Prepare the consolidation of financial data for multiple entities within the Group.
- Prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators, variances, and trends.

Commercial Finance (Pricing)
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of commercial activities, including pricing strategies, sales performance, and profitability.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to evaluate the financial impact of new products, promotions, and market initiatives.

Any other ad hoc requests from reporting manager.

**Job Requirements**:

- At least 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, and financial consolidation.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

High integrity, ethical standards, and a strong sense of accountability in handling confidential financial data.

**Qualifications Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting.

CPA/CA is an advantage.

**Technical Requirements**:

- Proficient in PowerPoint, financial modelling, data analysis, and consolidation tools/software and Xero accounting system (training will be provided).
