**What You’ll Do**:

- Supervise the technicians and contractors to ensure gas mains renewal projects are executed safely and efficiently.
- Assist Executives in the execution of renewal projects as per assigned.
- Prepare and conduct briefing of Safe Work Procedure for pipe laying, testing and commissioning of gas distribution works.
- Close monitoring of works progress and to be in compliance to Safety, Quality, Gas Act and regulatory regulations, codes and guidelines.
- Manage the issuance of works orders, verification of works done and completion certificates for payments to be in accordance to guidelines and policies.
- Assess site-specific risks and conduct daily toolbox meeting to identify and mitigate safety risks
- Ensure that the tools and equipment for related works are adequate and properly maintained for operation readiness.
- Assist Executives in ensuring the technicians are competent and trained in carrying out gas pipe laying / connection / repair / testing / termination works.
- Carry out emergency standby duties.
- Any other duties assigned.

**What You’ll Need**:

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from recognized Polytechnics in Singapore
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude
- Able to work independently, as well as in a team and in a challenging environment
- A team player with basic computer knowledge
- Possess skills in project planning, execution, and management
- Possess skills in statistical analysis and evaluation
- Possess a valid driving license and having own transport would be advantageous
