**Responsibilities**
- Architect and implement data systems that fetch and transform data from a variety of sources
- Help define canonical data standards for our open-source library of startup ecosystem data
- Engage with open-source community around issues and proposals
- Inform core API and platform decisions

**Requirements**:

- Familiarity with Python, Ruby, R, Scala
- Ability to write efficient SQL statements
- Practical experience sourcing and transforming unstructured data from the web
- Side projects, open source contributions
