Roles & Responsibilities

Role Description:
To assist in the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring consistent delivery of excellent patient care and oversee overall operations of the clinic. To assist the doctor to carry out simple medical processes and procedures (where deemed suitable).

Specific Responsibilities:

- Involved in daily operations of the clinic, including patient registration, submission of patient claims, dispensing of medications, inventory management and accounting processes
- Cultivating good relations with patients, to understand and assist in addressing their needs, concerns and queries, including to professionally and independently counsel patients (where deemed suitable)
- Assisting the doctor to carry out simple medical processes and procedures (where deemed suitable)
- Acting as a chaperone to the doctor, when required
- Maintaining the overall upkeep, cleanliness and sanitisation of the clinic premises and equipment routinely and daily
- Ensuring current Safe Management Measures are in place and constantly observed by staff and patients
- Assist the doctor and clinic manager with required duties to ensure seamless clinic operations
- Other ad-hoc duties, when required

Competencies:

- Good communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Good teamplayer and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Resourceful and a good problem-solver

Duration of Traineeship / Attachment:
6 months

Training Allowance:
Fresh Graduates:

- $2,100

Non Mature Mid Career Individuals:

- $2,500

Mature Mid Career Individuals:

- $2,500

Education Qualifications Required for the Traineeship Role under SGUnitedTraineeship:
Preferably with a Nursing Diploma or higher

This position is open for both recent graduates and mid career individuals (mature and non mature).

Graduates interested in this position should possess a Diploma qualification or higher. Mid career individuals from any qualification level can apply.
