This position is for PaxOcean Group, a company under Kuok (Singapore) Limited.

Position Summary

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Familiar with new technologies on marine and offshore field, such as structural health monitoring and ect.
- Perform concept and basic/detail design adopting relevant and up to date technologies
- Perform FE analysis using FEMAP
- Perform naval architecture calculations such as stability/hydrostatic, weight distribution, launching
- Generate basic & detail design document (arrangement & detail structure drawings and outfitting drawing and etc.) in
- compliance with Class/Statutory/Owner requirement
- Perform structural calculation, rudder calculation and design
- Generate technical specification for marine/machinery equipment
- Perform technical evaluation of hull outfitting equipment such as deck cranes, winches etc
- Prepare detailed compartment layouts, space coordination and integration with other disciplines.
- Liaise with other inter-discipline designers for design integration
- Liaise with Owner/ Vendor/ External Design Institute for the specific design requirement and development
- Liaise with Class Society to determine the design requirement

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the marine/offshore industry Hull & Outfitting newbuilding engineering design.
- Familiar on Structural Hull & Outfitting design.
- Familiar with Rules and Regulation and Statutory Requirements.
- Familiar with AutoCAD/ MS Office/ AVEVA.
