Splash Swimming Limited, incorporated in Singapore, is a subsidiary of Splash Foundation Limited which is a Hong Kong registered charity providing free learn to swim lessons for under-resourced communities.
We are currently seeking an independent contractor who can provide project management services to assist with the establishment and scaling of our Singapore operations. While the scope of services is broad, this contractor will work closely with the Hong Kong office in prioritizing responsibilities to align with overall objectives, timeline and budget. They will act as the primary representative for Splash in Singapore.
**Scope of Services - Singapore Project Manager**
**Office Management**
- Liaise with Singapore Board and Hong Kong Finance and Operations Director to assist with charity set up
- Managing various administrative tasks and acting as the primary liaison for the designated accountant, auditors, company secretary and tax agent
- Work with designated accountant to set up process and procedures for invoice payments, tracking income (donations) and expenses, and issuing donation receipts
- As Splash grows, assist with identifying needs, and how best to segment and define new roles and responsibilities.
**Programme Management**
Working with the Hong Kong Programme team and the Singapore Senior Coach, act as point person for all Singapore programmes including:
- Scheduling of programmes, confirming pool space, communicating with coaches
- Overseeing registration of participants in Singapore, from initial enquiries, to registration, to assessments and graduation; work with designated Captains to ensure regular communications and attendance tracking throughout the programme.
- Coordinating all programme launches & graduations, identifying roles/responsibilities, ordering equipment and supplies, as needed
- Identify potential pool space for future programme expansion; meet with school administrative teams
- Work with Finance Director in Hong Kong to pay, monitor and report on all programme expenses, ensuring programmes are cost efficient and delivered within budget
**Volunteer Management and Development**
- Manage all volunteer coach inquiries; facilitate onboarding and training before each term
- Work with Senior Coach to provide on-going training and development for volunteer coaches, ensuring we are building a steady pipeline of lead and senior coaches
- Identify, train and oversee all on-deck administration volunteers, ensuring they are well trained and effectively supporting the participants and coaches
- Ensure adequate coaching coverage throughout the programme and adapt as needed to ensure programmes are always executed safely and professionally.
**Fundraising & Development**
- Act as point person for fundraising and event opportunities in Singapore, relaying resources needed for execution
- Work with Communications Director in Hong Kong to ensure adequate coverage of Singapore programmes on website and social media platforms.

- Comfortable in water - enjoys being in water and is not afraid to step into a pool. No requirement to be a strong swimmer but ideally no extreme fear of water and some basic understanding of how bodies behave in water.
**Requirements**:
- Tertiary education graduate
- Right to live and work in Singapore
- Proven administrative or project management experience
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel/Google Sheets (Xero accounting software and Salesforce are a plus but not essential)
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Passion for swimming and/or helping under-resourced communities
**Working Conditions**
- This is a 6-month fixed term contract with the possibility for renewal.
- This is a part-time contractor position averaging 2 days per week.
- This is a work from home position with ad-hoc site visits or meetings
- Occasional Sunday work required during term time
**Swim Coaching**
The role could also include swim coaching in the Splash programmes if of interest and if suitability is confirmed. Splash programmes are currently delivered on Sundays. Full training would be provided and this would be in addition to the above job scope.
