We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **SVP, Asset, Liability and Capital Management Manager**.

**Principal Responsibilities**

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to actively identify IRRBB exposures and take appropriate steps to measure, monitor and control it as part of a defined IRRBB strategy. This includes, but not limited to, working with Global Businesses, Global Treasury and Finance to ensure an effective activities and processes are outlined in policy, procedures, and regulatory deliverables. The job holder will be reporting to the Regional Head of IRRBB Asia Pacific.

The job holder will be expected to have a good understanding of IRRBB, its measurement and management activities, and have ability to interface with senior stakeholders on IRRBB topics.

In this role, you will:

- Insights and Analysis: Provide insight and recommendations in response, and in anticipation, of adverse changes in interest rates. Support the ALCO to manage prevailing regulatory and market changes
- Hedging: Define risk management strategies through diversification of bond maturities and use of derivatives. Contribute to the business awareness of hedging avenues to embed distinctive risk-based strategies into product and pricing propositions
- Risk management - embed a robust risk management and articulate the firm’s ability to withstand a stress including the calibration of risk appetite in support of commercial goals and assessment of risks in the ICAAP
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with business leads to understand how businesses are expected to perform under various scenarios. Develop the user cases and deliver insights to support business strategy and forecasting
- Risk Monitoring: Work with various stakeholders to analyse risk measures and highlight issues, risks and opportunities and prioritise these within a defined ALCO remit

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Experience of overseeing the management of assets and liabilities and delivering recommendations in ALCOs preferred
- Prior Treasury Risk, Liquidity Risk and Interest Rate Risk in Banking Book management experience and familiarity with Asian markets and banking regulations would be advantage
- Prior experience managing regulatory relationships, specifically relating to Treasury Risk management
- Hands-on people management experience
- A Growth mind-set that is both open and resilient to rapidly evolving requirements
- Excellent analytical skills with an ability to deliver actionable insight
