Looking for Full time Experienced Senior Welder with minimum 5 to 8 years experience.
- Supervising junior welders at construction sites to ensure they are following safety procedures and using proper equipment
- Coordinating with project managers to schedule welding activities
- Inspecting welds for proper alignment and adherence to codes and standards
- Ensuring that welders have appropriate safety equipment and training to perform their jobs safely
- Preparing work orders for welding operations, including materials needed and outcomes
- Determining welding processes based on material types and desired outputs
- Performing welding tasks, such as setting up equipment and preparing welding rods, wires, or electrodes for use
- Training new welders on proper techniques and safety precautions related to their jobs
- Maintaining the quality of the junior welders’ work by inspecting completed projects
