**Responsibilities**:

- Actively contribute to data science projects by providing hands-on expertise in machine learning algorithms, data analytics, and statistical modeling.
- Develop and implement data collection and data analytics strategies.
- Collaborate with the Product team to provide data driven insights and recommendations.
- Drive the team’s performance and ensure delivery of high quality work.
- Contribute to the team's professional development and help them improve their skills.
- Provide short term quality work for the product, and strategically improve processes for the long term.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data science, with handson experience in machine learning, predictive modeling, data mining, and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in Python or Scala for data analysis and modeling.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
- Ability to deliver high quality work under tight deadlines.
- Experience with the edtech domain is preferred.
- Previous experience in product scaling is a plus.
