**Job Purpose**:

- To coordinate the ISO20022, SCRIPS and Giro direct participation project and work alongside with the teams in Singapore Branch, Head Office and external vendors in the development and implementation of SGD payment capabilities to ensure CNCBISG’s ISO 20022 readiness (as required by MAS) and CNCBISG’s direct participation in local clearing systems of Singapore Centre Real-time Integrated Payment Securities Settlement “SCRIPS” formerly known as MEPS+ and Giro.
- To support Wholesale Banking Department “WBD” and Financial Institutions, Public Sector “FIPS” and Transaction Banking Team in launching new Transaction Banking products, acquiring New-to bank clients, growing existing revenues, gathering incremental CASA and deposits, increasing trade utilization, promoting e-banking penetration and acquisition and preparing reports to actively track progress.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as a liaison between Head Office and external vendors to bridge Singapore Branch’s teams in developing and enhancing CNCBISG's SGD payment capabilities to be ISO 20022 ready and to participate directly into local clearing systems of Singapore.
- Drive and coordinate New Product Approval process for TB products including establishing new and renewal of TB product papers.
- Support Singapore Branch to implement new TB products and solutions to meet the needs of customers and Singapore Branch's business requirements for a higher and sustainable revenue stream.
- Understand clients’ TB requirements through joint calls with Relationship Managers and initiate, repackage and suggest new ways or solutions for Singapore Branch.
- Partner with Relationship Managers, Treasury and other stakeholders in expanding the liquidity management capabilities, selling deposits, treasury, trade finance, e-banking signup and other TB products.
- Work in consultation with other stakeholders like Operations, Treasury, Risk, Legal and Compliance to increase revenue for WBD and the Bank.
- Support Head of FIPS and Transaction Banking on managing client portfolio and meet the overall revenue growth of the portfolio.
- Support Head of FIPS and Transaction Banking on managing the FI bank limits for Singapore Branch to ensure adequate limits are in place to drive trade utilization and to support Singapore Branch’s treasury activities.
- Maintain a high standard of operational control by adhering to prevailing risk and compliance requirements, the Bank’s policies and procedures, and applicable local and regional regulations, follow through sales opportunities with attention to details to achieve set targets and standards; and being timely and alert to recognize risks inherent in WBD Transaction Banking business and clients’ requests and to report to the manager / Head of WBD if there are suspicious grounds.
- Comply with anti-money laundering / counter terrorist financing requirement and sanction risks controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.
- Handle any other ad-hoc tasks and projects as requested by supervisor.

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree Holder in Banking Administration and related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Transaction Banking or related area with cash management knowledge. Experience in Payment operations is a plus.
- Possess strong coordinating, research, project-management and time management skills.
