**What the role is**
- Principle/Lead Engineer Security Development (SD) is responsible to assist Deputy Director SD in the planning and delivery of Enterprise Group projects, specifically in the technology area of Enterprise Cyber Security systems/solutions. Principle/Lead Engineer is also required to work and support across different units within HTX.
**What you will be working on**
- Assist in the deliver and implementation of the controls in the Home Team Cybersecurity masterplan. - Ensure timely delivery of joint capabilities projects, especially in the areas of Enterprise Cyber Security systems/solutions. - Implement projects based on approved project plans that meet all identified operational needs, project risks, budget, schedule and quality. - Have full oversight of the projects’ status and resolve issues in a timely manner. - Lead discussions with all relevant parties including external government agencies, industry partners, Home Team Departments (HTDs) to ensure successful delivery of projects and capabilities. - Work with external agencies and/or HTDs in terms of collaboration or building system of systems at a larger Whole-of-Government (WOG) level, with the interest of HTX and MHA in mind. - Perform any other duties as assigned by HTX Senior Management or Dir.
**What we are looking for**
- Degree in Cyber Security/Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or relevant disciplines. - At least 8 years of relevant working experience in Cyber Security. - Strong interest in technologies and innovation, particularly in Cyber Security. Preferably relevant professional certifications in PMP, CISSP, CSSP, CISA or equivalent certification would be an advantage. - Strong planning and project management skills, with facilitation skills, problem-solving skills and organising capabilities. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification would be an advantage. - Strong planning and project management skills. - Competent, self-motivated, pro-active, dedicated and responsible as well as having the ability to work independently and as a team without the need for close supervision. - Facilitation skills, planning skills, problem-solving skills, organising capabilities and foresight to drive projects. - Good interpersonal and communications skills for internal/external stakeholders engagement.
