- Responsible for Client Centric business development for Intermediaries
- Responsible for the underwriting profit budget set by the Company
- Responsible to maintain high renewal retention for business underwritten from the various channel
- Build strong pipelines of business opportunities
- Identify, develop and execute business development strategies
- Evaluate, underwrite and quote risks for commercial classes (for example, Property, Casualty, Engineering and Marine etc) in line with the assigned authority and Company’s underwriting guidelines and treaty arrangements
- Arrange for placement of facultative reinsurance or acceptance of facultative reinsurance for risks accepted by the Business Unit in accordance with the Company’s limits of acceptance and underwriting policy and ensure contract certainty is fulfilled
- Assist in Credit Control monitoring and chasing of outstanding premium
- Undertake any other assignments as allocated by the Head of Underwriting Division or the General Manager or the Managing Director to contribute to the overall corporate objectives

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in Commercial line underwriting
