- **Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for day to day on-site project supervision of new construction/conversion/repairs of vessels
- Liaise with various departments and subcontractors for work arrangement and planning
- Perform materials planning to ensure the team has enough resources for work to take place
- Ensure assigned jobs are carried out effectively and productively in order to meet ship owners’ specifications, requirements and datelines
- Resolve engineering and technical problems and as well as finding ways to implement cost effective measures in the production processes
- Plan and execute man power deployment effectively
- Ensure compliance of safety regulations and requirements on site
- Monitoring, preparation and submission of reports on works progress

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture
- Possess at least 3-5 years’ experience in ship building or ship repairs
- Able to manage up to 120 - 150 workers, including subcontractors
- Knowledge of Shipbuilding and Ship Repair standards
- Knowledge of different welding methods/ WPS/ PQR and NDT methods
- Able to interpret technical drawings and specification
- Willing to work long hours on weekdays, weekends and public holidays
- Able to work onboard, at height and confined spaces

**Other Information**:

- Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
- 5 Days work week
- Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
