The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

**About the Team**:

- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Project Engineer to join our team. As the Automation Projects Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automated equipment and solutions.- Your primary role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful automation projects from inception to completion. You will work with a team of technicians, data analysts and operations specialists and play a pivotal role in optimising equipment performance across different sites. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating management reports and evaluating tenders.- Development of New Equipment/Automation Solutions, including evaluating and designing new equipment and automation solutions
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to provide inputs on automation feasibility and requirements
- Evaluate vendors’ site installation plans (both mechanical & electrical) & checklist and effectively monitoring project progress, quality, cost and safety to meet specifications
- Point of escalation to help coordinate and rectify safety and quality issues during installation
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth integration of automation solutions into existing workflows
- Coordinate with vendors in conducting Factory Acceptance Test and Standard Acceptance Test
- Generate comprehensive management reports on automation project progress, performance, and challenges
- Identify opportunities for improvement and upgrade existing machinery to meet new requirements

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
- Proven experience in managing the installation of large scale automation projects with mechanical or electrical background
- Strong technical background in automation systems, equipment, and machinery
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical structures of conveyor systems and sorters technology like wheel sorters, crossbelts and other sorting equipment would be highly preferable
- Prior experience in leading and managing a team of technicians.
- CAD: AutoCAD and /or any other 3-dimensional drafting software
