Infrastructure Advisor

Mott MacDonald is a global engineering, management, and development consultancy. We have an opportunity for a highly motivated and talented Infrastructure Advisor to join our award-winning Infrastructure Advisory team in Singapore. This role is a result of continued expansion of our national and international client base ensuring delivery of high quality worldwide multi-disciplinary projects.
- You will join a rapidly growing team which covers predominantly the Southeast Asian market, with a strong track record in advising on cities and climate. Our clients include private and public sector organisations across a range of sectors including urban development, transport, built environment, health and education, industry, water, waste, energy, and communications.
- In this role you will support programs and projects at the early stages of inception, assisting clients to make far reaching decisions on the scope, business outcomes, and feasibility of emerging infrastructure.

Opportunity
- Provide technical input to business cases in infrastructure developments as part of a project team in risk analysis, commercial structuring, economic appraisals, financial structuring, and procurement roadmaps.
- Collaborate throughout the project development lifecycle to help our clients realise exceptional business and wider community outcomes.
- Support management of multi-disciplinary infrastructure advisory projects.
- Conduct research and prepare reports on relevant topics to support the projects.
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals and business development activities.
- Support the preparation of procurement mechanisms for infrastructure projects involving private sector participation.
- Support financial/economic appraisals and viability analysis.
- Support the formulation of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) frameworks.
- Support institutional capacity development and roadmaps.
- About You
- Bachelor or master’s degree in a related field such as finance, economics, and business management.
- 2-5 years’ experience working in infrastructure consultancy.
- As this is a regional role, proficiency in a Southeast Asian language is preferred.
- Proficiency in financial and/or economic modelling in Excel or SPSS.
- Experience and technical knowledge in one or more of the following: infrastructure funding mechanism, socio-economic analysis, private-public partnership (PPP), infrastructure advisory.
- Experienced in project management who can demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal including reporting writing and presentations. appropriate to different audiences.
Including proficiency in delivering presentations and communications in PowerPoint.
- Good stakeholder management skills who is confident and enjoys engaging with clients and playing a role in BD activities such as - fostering existing client relationships; developing new client relationships, leading and writing proposals.
- Team player with the flexibility and interest to contribute to a wide range of assignments, and to adapt knowledge to areas outside immediate experience.
