**What will I be doing?
As a General Insurance Practitioner, you will be:

- Working with clients to determine the type of general insurance that they need
- Working out a quotation (based on the various financial services providers that we work with) to find the most suitable quote for your client
- Answering any questions that your client may have, while liaising with Orizal to get your answers to their questions

How is this different from Financial Advisory?

General Insurance focuses on the more “compulsory” aspect of insurance. Things like:

- Fire Insurance (important, given the rising number of fires in Singapore recently)
- Travel insurance - almost a guaranteed for people to buy one before they fly
- Car insurance - again, a must to buy

These are just some examples. In many ways, General Insurance is actually much, much simpler to advise and promote. That means the barrier to entry is lower for you (and easier to succeed if you do it right).
