ABOUT LET’S YORI KOREAN COOKING STUDIO:
Let’s Yori is the first cooking studio established in Singapore that focuses on Korean cuisine - designed to be a welcoming space for people from all walks of life to meet and cook at a common table where everyone bonds over stories behind ingenious food. Spanning 4,000 square foot, our cooking studio is designed for friends, families and strangers to meet and cook at a common table, where ingenious food encounters and new conversation begin.

JOB SUMMARY/ JOB OVERVIEW:
As a **Senior Cooking Instructor, **you are responsible for demonstrating the proper techniques to prepare food, showing students how to use kitchen equipment, and teaching a variety of recipes. You will be teaching students in group classes or single private sessions. You would need to ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques _. You will be required to guide or assist Junior Cooking Studio Instructors for their lack of experience as a trainer.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage, teach and conduct cooking classes with patience and professionalism
- Execute and supervise the day to day operations of the cooking studio
- Maintain the cleanliness of the studio thus providing a positive learning environment
- Lead the team to prepare lesson plan for cooking classes
- Proactive and Initiative in ensuring the food costs are within the allocated budget and seek improvements to reduce food wastes
- Be punctual and well prepared with required ingredients and tools before the class begins
- Deliver the required curriculum
- Promote and maintain high level of student satisfaction
- Offer suggestions for improvement to course implementation as part of our ongoing efforts to achieve excellence and increase our strategic advantage. Proposed enhancements must adhere to the necessary SOPs and Government requirements.
- Provide students with help and coaching as needed to guarantee their success and avoid any withdrawals

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Diploma/Degree Holder in Culinary, or at least 7 years related experience
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) is an advantage
- Relevant experience in area of specialization (Eg: Korean, Asian)
- Competence in delivering education in English
- Demonstrate excellent coaching abilities and can offer essential help to students
- Ability to devise recipes and maintain culinary standards
