**Product Owner, Online Trading (VP)** **-** **(**240001GF**)**

**Description**

The Platform and Transformation ("P&T") department under BOS Global COO ("GCOO") is responsible for building the WM platform of the future across all offerings globally. The team is responsible for strategic initiatives, including building channels, wealth, and execution platforms, as well as regulatory and risk transformation. The team is also in charge of financial markets and client data, as well as the agile practice at BOS.

The Online Trading Product Owner reporting to Channels P&T lead would be responsible for driving the strategy and delivery of a best-in-class, multi-asset online trading experience & capabilities to clients and front office users on channels.

This role involves working with cross-functional teams such as end-users, designers, OMS (Order Management System) product owners, and technology partners to understand user needs, define product requirements, and deliver via agile squads, with the aim of driving user satisfaction and business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

- **Define strategic product vision** for providing a best-in-class, multi-asset (equities, funds, fixed income, and more) online trading experience and capabilities to clients and front-office users on channels.
- **Develop product roadmap**: Create and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with Bank of Singapore's strategic goals and vision, ensuring the product meets user needs and stays ahead of the competition.
- **Define product requirements**: Gather and analyze user requirements, market research, and business goals to define and prioritize product features and enhancements. Translate customer needs and business requirements into clear and actionable product requirements, including user stories, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
- **Drive product development** via agile squads to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features, providing guidance and clarifications as needed.
- **Collaborate with cross-functional teams**: Work closely with end-users, design, technology, OMS (order management system) product owners, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful rollout and effective communication and coordination throughout the product development lifecycle.
- **Conduct market research**: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation. Proactively seek feedback from clients, analyze data, and market trends to anticipate and understand needs and trends. Look to optimize the experience of our clients and their journeys.
- **Conduct user acceptance testing**: Define and execute user acceptance testing plans to ensure the product meets quality standards and user expectations.
- **Monitor and analyze product / feature adoption, ROI, and user feedback**: Track key product performance metrics, conduct data analysis, and gather user feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive data-driven decision-making.
- **Training, marketing, and communication**: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective product messaging and go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful product launches and adoption. Coordinate training sessions and provide ongoing support. Develop training materials, user guides, and FAQs to facilitate adoption and drive usage.

**Qualifications**
- Min degree holder. Possession of MBA degree or related qualification is advantageous.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in participating in complex, cross-functional projects in banking or financial services.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in online trading or similar role, preferably across multiple asset classes
- Strong understanding of online trading platforms, order placement, and post trade processes and workflows
- Familiarity/ prior experience with agile development methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to improve how things are done.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced environment.
