Singapore SCT CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. Full time

Design structural components such as beams, columns, slabs, foundations, etc.
- Perform structural calculations and analysis using engineering software
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards
- Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and calculation reports.
- Coordinate with drafting teams to produce accurate and buildable drawings.
- Review shop drawings and method statements submitted by contractors.
- Liaise with architects, M&E engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design integration and constructability.
- Attend design meetings, coordination meetings, and site inspections as required.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
- Conduct structural inspections, quality checks, and resolve site issues in coordination with the site team.
- Ensure that structural designs incorporate appropriate safety factors and address environmental loads
- Assess risks and ensure compliance with workplace and construction safety regulations.
- Prepare progress reports, structural assessment reports, and inspection logs.
- Document and follow up on non-conformities or technical queries.

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles, load paths, and construction materials (RC, steel, precast, etc.).
- For junior roles: Internship or project-based experience in structural engineering or construction.
- For mid/senior roles: At least 3-10+ years of experience in structural design, detailing, and/or site supervision.
- Able to liaise with architects, contractors, clients, and consultants to resolve design or site issues.
- Able to prepare reports, technical documentation, and respond to RFI (Request for Information).
- Experience in managing project schedules, design timelines, and coordinating across disciplines.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
