Our client is a Leading Oil & Gas Multinational turning over $20 billion with over 80,000 employees worldwide. This position based in Singapore will drive and shape their procurement strategies to strategically align supply solutions.
They're looking for someone to be part of their dynamic and collaborative community focused on empowering a entrepreneurial mindset.
**Responsibilities**:
- Sourcing (identify supplier, coordinate qualification, price negotiation/T&C, accountable for cost impact)
- Develop, compile and conduct pre-qualification exercises, pre-tender meetings, invitation to tender documentation, tender openings and evaluation of tenders received, including detailed analysis of commercial and contractual qualifications, exceptions and deviations.
- Support to deliver against tender price with the regional suppliers
- Engages in negotiations with suppliers, aimed at achieving best possible pricing.
- Acts as a liaison between the supplier and company Accounts Payable to resolve issues affecting timely payment, including but not limited to: PO Receipt, Invoice disputes, Supplier requirements, Payment term resolution, etc.
- Participates in supplier review process and develop relationships with identified key strategic suppliers
- Supports supplier base rationalisation by working closely with Sourcing and Category Management.
- Focus on continuous improvement initiatives within the respective categories
