Lead Cloud Architect

**Role Summary**:
As a Lead Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive

cloud solutions across various platforms, ensuring alignment with business and IT goals. You will guide the organization in cloud adoption, deployment, and management strategies, emphasizing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) along with AWS and Azure environments. Your role will encompass cloud strategy, architecture design, migration planning, and security implementation to support diverse pre-sales and operational needs across the Asia-Pacific Region.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop a comprehensive cloud strategy and roadmap aligning with business and IT goals.
- Recommend appropriate cloud deployment models (public, private, hybrid) and cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Architect and recommend cloud-based solutions for diverse pre-sales prospects across the Asia-Pacific Region.
- Design the overall architecture of OCI-based cloud environments, including network, storage, compute, and platform services.
- Define logical and physical topologies, network segmentation, and security configurations.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure and networking architecture.
- Ensure OCI architecture and implementation adhere to industry best practices and business security and compliance requirements.
- Design and implement disaster recovery solutions between different OCI regions and OCI & On-Prem based on RTO & RPO requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Design, implement, and maintain landing zone setups and configurations.
- Design, implement, and maintain Hub & Spoke network topology.
- Design, implement, and maintain VCN, Subnets, Route Tables, Gateways, Security Lists, Network Security Groups, and Dynamic Routing Gateway and attachments.
- Implement and maintain site-to-site VPN tunnels, fast connect virtual circuits, remote peering gateways, and local peering gateways.
- Manage IP address scheme management & flow logs.
- Design, implement, and maintain WAF, ALB & NLB, DNS services.
- Design appropriate database shapes, storage, and licensing models, including Oracle base database services (DB System), Exadata Database Service, and Autonomous databases (ATP, ADW, JSON).
- Design and implement disaster recovery solutions for DBCS, EXACS & autonomous databases using Data Guard and cross-region backups.
- Patch and upgrade databases and OS to maintain security and performance.
- Design and propose cloud migration and upgrade strategies for Oracle and non-Oracle workloads.
- Propose, implement, and maintain various migration services for VMs, containers, storage & data, databases.
- Design, implement, and maintain VM migrations to Oracle Cloud VMware solution.
- Design and manage block volume replication, backup & clone, data pump, ZDM.
- Ensure secure cloud architecture and security controls across various OCI services.
- Implement network-level security controls, such as firewalls, load balancers, and VPN connections.
- Ensure secure connectivity between on-premises environments and OCI and other cloud providers.
- Configure and manage OCI's logging and monitoring services, such as Logging, Monitoring, and Cloud Guard.
- Configure and manage WAF, certificates, security zones, KMS, Firewalls.
- Monitor and analyze OCI resource utilization and costs.
- Optimize resource allocation and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Design and manage IaC templates using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Implement DR automated switch-over and switch-back using Jenkins and OCI Ansible collection
