**Responsibilities**:
The intern will have the opportunity to develop exciting and educational training related materials, and to participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects. These projects allow the intern to work with different departments and, if needed, the intern will have the opportunity to attach to Production and Quality departments to learn the API processes. The intern will have a firsthand experience to be part of Training, Learning and Capability (TLC) department to develop training skills and Operational excellence skills to develop understanding of lean manufacturing.

The intern will be:

- Participating in reporting and updating training dashboards
- Aid in the processing of forms in a Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) environment
- Experiencing real time audits processes
- Understanding Pfizer production system (called IMEx)

Projects which the intern will be undertaking, not limited to:

- Involvement in the improvement initiatives/projects related to training effectiveness
- Involvement in other Business Excellence related lean projects

Skills to be developed during internship- Operate PLS Training System, to understand the importance of learning management system in a Pharma Manufacturing Plant
- Participate in department tier meetings and CI meetings.
- Gain Operation Excellence knowledge - 5S, Standard works
- Involve in Problem Solving, Decision-Making and basic Project Management skills- Attributes: Teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability, and flexibility

**Qualifications**:

- Active enrollment and good grades in an accredited, 4 year undergraduate program- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficient in written communication and presentation skills
- Has basic knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices is preferred.
- Embrace a good learning attitude.
