**Job Title: Chinese Language Teacher / Lead Chinese Teacher**

Salary Range: SGD 4,000 - 6,000 per month

Location: Aljunied

Impact Family International School (IFIS) is a bilingual international school committed to fostering global citizens. We provide a Chinese-English bilingual environment that emphasizes language development and cultural understanding. We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Chinese Language Coordinator to lead and support our Chinese teaching team, ensuring a high standard of education for our students.

**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement engaging Chinese language lessons. Adapt and optimize the curriculum to suit the diverse needs and proficiency levels of students. Ensure that teaching materials align with international standards and school goals.

**Team Leadership**:
Provide guidance and support to the Chinese language teachers in lesson planning, teaching strategies, and classroom management. Organize regular team meetings to discuss curriculum updates and teaching challenges. Mentor new teachers and support their professional development.

**Classroom Excellence**:
Conduct classroom observations to maintain high teaching standards. Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Support teachers in implementing creative and experiential teaching methodologies.

**Parent Communication and Collaboration**:
Act as a liaison between parents and the Chinese teaching team, addressing concerns and providing updates on student progress. Organize parent-teacher meetings to discuss student development and achievements.

**Cultural and Language Activities**:
Plan and lead school-wide cultural events related to Chinese traditions, such as festival celebrations and language competitions. Encourage student participation in external Chinese language exams and competitions.

**Job Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language Education or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus). At least 3 years of Chinese teaching experience, with experience in curriculum planning or team leadership preferred.

Proficient in spoken and written Chinese, with good English communication skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate and lead a team effectively. Experience in developing and implementing lesson plans and teaching materials.

Passionate about education and fostering a love for the Chinese language. Collaborative, empathetic, and approachable, with excellent interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
