**Job Scopes**:

- Respond promptly to sales and costing inquiries, providing relevant information. Assess when escalation is needed to ensure resolution.
- Understand and clarify customer requirements; match them with company products.
- Build cost models for new and modified projects, considering factors like lead-time and resource availability.
- Break down projects into tasks to estimate time and resources needed for each.
- Gather prices from vendors for materials, parts, and services to build job cost models.
- Coordinate with supervisors for process times and engineers for estimating costs.
- Visit the shop floor to understand repair scope; liaise with QC and project teams for initial inspection details.
- Obtain proposals or drawings from Engineering.
- Track quotation requests, obtain approvals, and submit quotations and drawings as needed. Address customer questions.
- Handover confirmed orders to the project team and complete kick-off checklist; upload relevant customer documents.
- Maintain a list of open quotations; review backlog weekly.
- Collaborate with sales to follow up on quotes for potential orders and identify reasons for lost bids to improve.
- Prepare and update costing and quotation templates, customer contact lists, and sales quotation records.
- Submit customer terms and conditions for review; update sales orders and upload purchase orders for contract review.Verify third-party costs at job close; adjust for over-budget costs when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Higher education in Engineering, ideally in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in subsea product/project costing within a manufacturing setting in the Oil & Gas industry
- Proficient in reading engineering (machining/fabrication) drawings and understanding assemblies
- Knowledge of API 6A, API 16A, and API 16F specifications/equipment is an advantage
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
