Genesys is hiring a Senior PS Consultant with a passion for working with leading-edge technologies in a diverse and international environment. Your main responsibilities include consulting, designing, and implementing Genesys' next-generation customer experience solutions.

**This role is primarily responsible for the following tasks**:

- Participate in the implementation of Genesys contact solutions through all stages of the project lifecycle: Business Requirements specification and analysis, Technical Design specification, Implementation and Integration of the solution, Test Plan development and Testing.
- Providing consulting and advice to customers for API, integration, and/or best practices in using Genesys products.
- Share knowledge with customers and colleagues.
- Troubleshoot complex issues with existing or new Genesys implementations.
- Create accurate development effort estimates in collaboration with the team manager, Professional Services project managers, or regional managers.
- Support sales and pre-sales and do customer presentations. Ability to consult with new customer prospects in the sales process to provide technical direction for upcoming complex engagements.
- Perform technical assessment of the architecture, setup, configuration, integration of a Genesys system, identify performance bottleneck and factors that cause instability, and provide recommendations for improvement.

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- Qualifications in Computer science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, or equivalent based on the job experience.
- At least 6 years of experience working in an enterprise software system design, deployment & operation environment.
- At least 4 years of experience in the implementation of contact center solutions.
- Experience in designing & implementation of SIP & IP Telephony solutions.
- Experiences with DBMS (Oracle and MS-SQL) and SQL language.
- Computer networks and network security concepts.
- Demonstrate solid analytical and problem-solving skills in investigating and resolving software or environment-related issues.
- Ability to work independently on routine duties or projects with general instructions on new assignments.
- Ability to take initiative and work on new product features.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.

**The Following are Preferred, but not Mandatory**:

- Experiences in, or certification for, Genesys products is preferred.
- Experiences in software design & development, scripting, and/or web & social media technologies are an advantage.
