**The Right Profile**
We are looking to hire an Accounts Assistant on a 6 months contract basis, who will be responsible for supporting the current Finance team in handling business expansion and documenting financial processes. As a successful hire, you will be responsible for supporting Finance operations across the region but also managing key projects for the team. You will also be expected to assess, enhance and document existing processes to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support local accounting teams in daily Finance operations over the region
- Participate in month end closing process including accounts review, deliverables and reporting
- Assist Finance Controller in various compliance requirements for the Group and subsidiaries
- Oversee Finance system administration and provide training across countries
- Support Finance team in business expansion, continuous improvements of processes, reporting and tools.
- Enhance internal Finance documentation including creating detailed SOPs
- Review existing Finance records (Statutory and internal) and organize a structured drive architecture
- Any ad-hoc projects
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Diploma in accountancy or completed either of the following professional examination or equivalent:
- Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification Foundation Programme
- ACCA Qualification Applied Skills Modules
- ICAEW ACA Qualification Professional Level
- 2 - 4 years working experience in maintaining full set of accounts
- Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards, common accounting and tax practices, internal controls
- Proficient in spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets)
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with finance teams across regions
- Ability to handle a varied and diverse workload, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness and a high degree of attention to detail and a commitment to continuous process improvement
- Passionate, dependable and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Prior experience in startup is a plus
