Analyst/ Senior Analyst, Private Capital Markets

**The Job**:
The Private Capital Markets (“PCM”) team is responsible for capital raising and product development for CapitaLand’s private real estate funds. CapitaLand currently manages US$19.2 billion across 25 private funds. You will be supporting the PCM team at CapitaLand Fund Management Pte Ltd (“CLFM”) and report to Managing Director, Private Capital Markets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support and assist the PCM team across its key areas of responsibilities- Product development: Structuring and project management of new private real estate fund launches
- Ongoing capital raising efforts for existing fund vehicles; and
- Ongoing development and management of client relationships and indirect marketing efforts
- Assist 3rd party private capital raising efforts including preparation of marketing materials, addressing capital partners’ due diligence questions, organising meetings and road shows, supporting negotiations and preparation of fund documentation
- Assist in team efforts to research, target, develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential capital partners
- Assist in maintaining centralised oversight of the investment management business including investment performance monitoring and analysis, investor reporting, governance and returns bench marking
- Contribute to the Group’s investment management strategy through research and market intelligence, including keeping current on competitive and regulatory landscape and best practices

**Requirements**:

- Masters / Degree in Real Estate / Finance / Business Administration / Economics or other similar specialisation
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience (e.g. with real estate fund managers / financial institutions / real estate developers or operators / financial advisory firms, particularly in corporate finance / fund raising / investments). Prior fund structuring and project management experience will be viewed favourably.
- Resourceful, hands-on and committed to delivering results. Able to prioritize and respond well to changing circumstances and tight timelines. Able to juggle different roles and assignments in supporting the fundraising efforts.
- Meticulous and thorough with good attention to details
- Strong team player, but also able to work independently. Need to work well with different departments and business units within the Group.
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills and experienced in financial analysis and modelling
- Well versed in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Fluency or working level in an Asian language (besides Chinese) such as Japanese or Korean is a plus but not required
