**About the Team**:
McCloskey by OPIS, a Dow Jones company, provides news, price reporting, data, and research across the Coal, Metals & Mining industries. OPIS enables customers to enact important decisions with confidence with multi-platform access to accurate data, real-time news, and detailed forecasts.

**About the Role**:
Fundamentals analyst covering global metallurgical coal and coke markets

**You Will**:

- Maintain and continually refine monthly supply and demand balance sheets and price forecasts for metallurgical coal and related products.
- Maintain and/or contribute to monthly and weekly metallurgical coal deliverables, as well as leading bespoke consulting engagements.
- Be a thought leader in metallurgical coal markets, and an APAC leader in steel and steel raw materials more broadly, doing everything from conference presentations to client presentations and fielding customer queries

**You Have**:

- At least 10 years of experience in the steel or steel raw materials industries and/or markets.
- Strong quantitative skills (strong MS Excel and VBA, knowledge of Python and PowerBI advantageous)
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present to a high standard.
- Ability to lead others
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a team while sometimes operating alone
- Bachelor’s degree (in in a quantitative discipline preferred)
