**Summary**

Assist Executive Chef with an array of different tasks in the kitchen. Responsible to display a consistent, high-quality food preparation, ensure courteous, professional, efficient and team player to colleagues & management. In addition to meal preparation, ensuring all work stations are clean and adhere to health and safety regulations. Manage your kitchen stations, monitor food supply inventory, and cut down on kitchen wastage.

**Role & Responsibility**:

- Ensure of Kitchen standard requirements, cleanliness, food wastage and cost control.
- Control food stock and foodcost in the kitchen to its minimum
- Cook food and prepare top-quality menuitems in a timely manner as assigned
- In-charge of stock inventory availability and incoming stock accountability
- In-charge of mise en placefor food preparation is completed for all menu items
- Ensure the quality of the food items and ingredients during mise en place and production.
- Ensuring adequacy of ingredient supplies at the cooking stations
- Preparing monthly menus in collaboration with colleagues/Executive Chef
- Follow and maintain cleanliness and good hygiene practices in the kitchen.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
- Ensure that food storage areas are maintained in accordance with respective government agencies(SFA/NEA) policies and procedures
- Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist
- Monitor quality of food and quantity of food prepared
- Establish good working relation and to help other colleagues at busy times as and when required
- Report any kitchen equipment or maintenance issue to Executive Chef or management
- Compliance to company policies and Standard of Procedure

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience or a culinary certificate
- Possess a SFA hygiene certificate
- Possess knowledge or passionate about Japanese, Korean and South East Asian cuisine will be an advantage
- Possess positive attitude towards task assigned
- Eager to learn and progress
- Able to work on Weekends and PH
- Is always punctual for work and well disciplined
