We are seeking a passionate Video Codec Algorithm Engineer to research and develop video compression algorithms/video encoder/decoder to improve real-time video quality and performance on Zoom video products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Research on the latest video compression technologies
- Possess strong skills in the areas of development and real-time implementation of video encoder/decoder
- Design and implement video compression algorithm to improve the quality
- Research and development on video quality measurement
- Participate in the design and development of Zoom video products

**Requirements**:

- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Excellent programming skills in C/C++, and Python.
- Hands-on experience in video coding techniques (traditional method and deep learning method).
- Strong experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.
- Hands-on experience on deep learning structure (Transformer, CNN, RNN, etc.) optimization and acceleration
- Solid knowledge of math, including linear algebra, numerical optimization, calculus, etc.
- Experience with video coding standards such as H.264, HEVC, and AV1.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong team player.
