Installation:

- Installing electrical wiring, conduits, outlets, fixtures, and lighting systems in buildings.
- Connecting electrical equipment and appliances.
- Installing electrical control systems and components.
- Following blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to ensure proper installation.

Maintenance and Repair:

- Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical problems.
- Replacing faulty wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
- Performing preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Maintaining and upgrading electrical systems to improve efficiency and capacity.

Safety and Compliance:

- Adhering to safety regulations and building codes during all work.
- Identifying and mitigating safety hazards and code violations.
- Ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently.

Other Duties:

- Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Working with other contractors and team members.
- Estimating material, equipment, and labor costs.
- Maintaining records of work performed and materials used.
- Supervising or training apprentice electricians.
- Communicating with clients and addressing their concerns.
- Responding to electrical emergencies.
