**What's the role?**:
We are looking for a passionate Material Planner to join our Regional Office in Singapore, managing the flow of materials within the market organizations (Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia) ensuring there is an optimisation of inventory and service levels at all locations.

**What does the role involve?**:
You will be responsible for plan, forecast & release of purchasing orders to ensure targeted product availability and optimum inventory levels with pro-active management of system/planning alerts. You will look into demand planning and purchasing of Hilti products from all international source and suppliers and manage inventory shortages ensuring that appropriate action is taken to resolve them with minimum cost impact & maximum attention to customer service

You will facilitate Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) by partnering with Product/Trade Managers to manage product portfolio(s), Prepare and contribute to the monthly Sales and Operation meetings with Market business partners (Executive teams)

You will be responsible for the inventory positioning for your Business unit(s), including stocking strategy, New product introductions, Phase in / out and dead stock management.

**What you need is**:

- Bachelors Degree essential, supply chain related field is desired
- Minimum 3-5 years Demand/Supply Planning experience within an MNC is essential
- Experience of working in an organization with a direct sales business model is desired but not essential
- Proficient user of SAP R3 - DRP, Inventory Modules & Data Management
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel with experience in building advanced reports
- Must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
