Thales people architect solutions that enable two-thirds of planes to take off and land safely. We create in-flight entertainment systems that engross 50 million fliers every year and we develop the avionics that control the world’s largest commercial aircrafts. Thales established its presence in Singapore in 1973 to support the expansion of aerospace-related activities in the Asia-Pacific region. Throughout the last four decades, the company grew from strength to strength and is today involved in the primary businesses of Aerospace (including Air Traffic Management), Defence & Security, Ground Transportation and Digital Identity & Security. Thales today employs over 2,100 people in Singapore across all its business areas.
**Responsibilities**:
- Contribute in I4.0 transformation of current Industrial & Manufacturing processes to drive improvement in the process-chain
- Work closely with key stakeholders to understand requirements & build clear problem statements
- Coordinate with Global team to define this project & synchronize with the existing activities & initiatives
- Introduce new IoT sensors to specific machines & Test Benches
- Connecting the sensors to local & network nodes for data collection in the right format
- Integrate the data with existing Cloud Platforms
- Run Simulations
- Perform live data analysis to derive key conclusions and measurable KPIs e.g. for live tracking of system faults / predictive maintenance
- Documentation of the Project & Communication with external & internal stakeholders
**Requirements**:
- Min. 3 years of Experience in Industrial Automation / Embedded Systems
- Programming skills in C / C++ / Java / Python
- Possesses proven skills in data engineering and data visualization and using simulation tools
- Industry 4.0 Experience a big plus
- Demonstrate the sensitivity to understand and define key customer requirements
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to liaise with various departments & customers locally and internationally

- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
