IT Administrator

Job Title: IT Administrator

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Administrator to oversee our organization's IT infrastructure. The IT Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of network, including hardware and software maintenance, security, and user support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ensure that the network security from unauthorized access, viruses, and other threats.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot as required.
- Conduct regular data backups and maintain disaster recovery.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures, including security and privacy.
- Manage and maintain user accounts and permissions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for new hardware and software systems as needed.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure that systems are functioning properly.
- Manage and maintain IT inventory and licensing.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or higher NITEC in computer science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT admin or a similar role.
- Knowledge of server operating systems, such as Windows Server and Linux.
- Knowledge of cloud computing, including AWS and Azure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
