The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore’s central bank and integrated financial regulator.

**Job Description**:

- Support the Sustainability Group in sense making fast-moving sustainability developments, keeping abreast of latest developments and identifying the relevancy to MAS policies
- Contribute to the shaping of MAS overall sustainability strategy and catalyse new sustainable finance initiatives. In this role, the individual will contribute to sustainability research and the formulation of existing and new policies in climate, biodiversity and beyond
- Interface with external stakeholders and support the group in the development of ecosystem such as carbon markets and the anchoring of strategic international organisations in Singapore
- Work closely with Singapore government agencies to shape sustainability initiatives, and direct sustainable capital to projects aligned with Paris Agreement goals
- Foster internal alignment on sustainability. This includes interfacing with functional departments in MAS to co-shape relevant sustainability initiatives fronted by these departments, and the organisation of workshops and advisory panels to validate MAS initiatives and identify next steps.

Job requirements
- Demonstrated track record of in sustainability.
- Relevant work experience in the financial sector is preferred and knowledge of sustainable finance is an advantage.
- Ability to write clearly and synthesise messages.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to positively influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and able to lead organization-wide projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A good team player who is proactive and motivated.
