**Who we are looking for**:
Toku is currently getting into a scale-up mode. We want to continue creating momentum for our products in the APAC regions and help customers with their communications needs. As we expand our Product team, we are looking for a capable VP of Engineering to support our engineers, product managers, and Operations team.

**What you will be doing**:
- Lead and work closely with the engineers to develop the best technical design and strategy
- Own the delivery of various timelines, ensuring that key milestones are met, and deliveries are of the highest quality
- Establish best practices for software development and encourage their adoption with the team and organization
- Collaborate with other non-technical stakeholders of the business including Product Managers, Designers, Marketing etc.
- Mentor a team of talented engineers and work with them to remove any roadblocks
- Conduct performance reviews and define each individual’s career paths to help them grow within the organization
- Focus on building software quality and development operations practices
**What you bring to the table**:
- Bachelor's or Master’s in engineering, Computer Science, Telecom or comparable field plus advanced business degree
- 8+ years in enterprise voice, data, and cloud services within a global Tier-1 telecom operator or enterprise service/solutions provider
- In-depth knowledge of Freeswitch and flavors of other PBX is required
- Strong practical knowledge of VoIP Protocols SIP, STUN, SDP
- Exposure to different types of Network switches, routers, and firewalls
- Knowledge of database SQL (preferred)
- Scripting knowledge and experience with tools like Wireshark, SIPP
