**Software Product Lead - Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)**

**Job scope**:

- Conducting thorough market research to identify and understand market needs, competitor landscape, and regulatory requirements. This information will be used to refine and enhance the software's feature set.
- Taking charge of the product roadmap and strategic R&D planning to drive further innovation and development of BESS software.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and harmonization of BESS software across various domains, such as Battery Energy Storage System SCADA and EMS, Solar and Wind Monitoring and Control, and Energy Trading.
- Serving as a thought leader in the field, representing the company at conferences and trade shows, and contributing to thought leadership through articles and white papers. Additionally, you will play a role in the development of marketing materials.
- Gathering valuable product insights through customer feedback, identifying feature requests, and addressing customer pain points. You will be responsible for incorporating these insights into the software by introducing new analytics methods and tools to continuously enhance its capabilities.

**Requirements**:

- Over 6 years of hands-on experience in Engineering and/or R&D for Battery Energy Storage systems. A PhD or Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control, Applied Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrable expertise in software product management, with knowledge of Energy Storage solutions and/or IoT being advantageous.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience using workflow management tools like Jira is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of batteries and BESS, including safety measures, battery performance simulation models, fault detection & diagnosis, battery management strategies, and battery state estimation.
- Utilization of optimization concepts and algorithms to enhance BESS performance.
- Knowledge of Energy IoT, SCADA for renewable energy generation systems, and cloud-based monitoring systems to contribute to project success.
- Broad knowledge across various Renewable energy domains or conventional power systems.
