**Joy Music School - Music Teacher (Part-Time)**

Since 2013, Joy Music Studio is an established music in the East Singapore, conveniently located at Parkway Centre. Offering a variety of instrument choices and professionally equipped studios, we are known for our enthusiastic teachers and customized approach for learners. We strive to share the joy with music across all our teachers and students.

We are currently looking for warm and caring **Music Teachers (Vocal and music explorer) **to join our joyful team in a free-lance or part-time (30 hours/week) teaching position.

**Our music teachers are expected to**:

- Create learning plans and prepare lessons in relation to individual students' goals and examination syllabuses
- Prepare students for music exams, competitions, or performances
- Proactively communicate with parents regarding student goals and progress
- Motivate students and encourage progress in the student’s learning journey
- Contribute to the development and curriculum of the piano program when requested
- Attend staff meetings and teacher training sessions when requested
- Work collaboratively with other colleagues in group activities, such as camps, exam preparation, or concerts
- Assist in marketing activities related to promoting the school when requested

**We’d love to hear from you if**:

- You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in music, Diploma in Music, or Grade 8 Certificate or higher from a recognized music program such as ABRSM, RockSchool, RCM, or Trinity (certification in a second instrument is a bonus)
- You smile A LOT, and have a bright and cheerful personality with confident communication skills
- You love working with young children and can offer related experience in teaching, customer service, or working with children
