[What the role is]
MANAGER, BUS ASSETS
[What you will be working on]
You will part of the team that develop supervise and executes initiatives to enhance asset management practices, processes and system. You will be involved in driving assets’ renewal / replacement to ensure the assets meet the operational needs for a safe, green and reliable public bus transport.
In your role, you will manage assets’ development, preparation and establishment of requirements and procedures with regards to effective and efficient procurement of buses, as well as manage new bus Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) for operational, quality and safety compliances, in accordance with the contract. In addition, you will coordinate with other divisions to manage the seamless integration of key systems and technologies on to bus platform. You will also manage the planning of bus procurement in support of bus contracting and industry replacement, the development of tender specification and budget for bus assets, as well as contract management.
[What we are looking for]
- Knowledge in Electrical / Electronic/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Familiar with hybrid / electric vehicles topologies will be an advantage
- Experience in the public bus or related industry and in data analytics will be
an advantage
- Possess good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Possess good analytical, planning, execution and problems solving and
communication skills
- Communicate effectively in terms of strong written and presentation skills
with an eye for details and is IT savvy
- Analytical with a mind towards problem-solving
- Highly motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently
