Singapore S & I SYSTEMS PTE LTD Full time

The role is responsible to support IT infrastructure implementation (70%) and operation support (30%) activities. The role holder will work closely with the team for project implementation, resolving complex technical issues arise, as well as to support operational tasks for our managed customers with focus on Solaris, Linux, storage and backup implementation and support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Hands-on with the implementation of Systems technologies surrounding the area of Unix/Linux, SAN Storage, Data Management & Protection, System Virtualization, High Availability & Disaster Recovery
- Involve during the full deployment and integration during a project life-cycle

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher level equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technologies discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in Enterprise Systems infrastructure. Systems and Storage related certification is preferred but not a must. E.g. Solaris certified professional, RHCE or similar
- Experience with Unix/Linux, Storage, Data Protection like NetBackup, Veeam, RHEL/Solaris Cluster, Virtualization like OVM and Vmware
- Preferably with experience with major public cloud technologies like Oracle Cloud, AWS and Middleware (eg. IBM MQ, JBOSS EAP Server, Apache Tomcat Server and JBOSS HTTP Server)
- Must have experience in implementation and support from a similar field in System Integration
- Solid foundation in Systems and Storage infrastructure will be the key to success in this role
- Strong communication skills, self-motivated and confident
