Run Specialist

As a Run Specialist, you will be responsible to support the Calypso “CIBOS” back office package as part of the “run the bank” function. It requires a deep understanding of the nature of business operations, timing of activities & data flowing through internal and external systems. The build and support team continuously works with business users, infrastructure engineers and system managers.

**Responsibilities**
- Application Monitoring

Ø Supervise and monitor daily and monthly batch chains, which take place during the Singapore morning and early afternoon time, to ensure that problems are swiftly analyzed and resolved to minimize downtime.

Ø Process and issue daily, weekly and monthly reporting on data quality.

Ø Streamline processes to minimize manual intervention
- Incidents and Requests management (from business users and other IT teams)

Ø Analyse and manage incidents/requests.

Ø Coordinate incidents impacting several teams.
- Problem Management and continuous improvement

Ø Identify recurring problems and eliminate them.

Ø Provide requirements to build team for bug fixing and improvements.

Ø Put in place trainings for business users to reduce the number of daily requests from business to IT.

Ø Process improvements.

Ø Coach more junior team members as required.
- Change improvement

Ø Release testing.

Ø Performance analysis.

Ø Production deployment and validation.

Ø Production releases on weekend (rotating schedule within the team).

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years experience with Calypso as a back office
- Basic knowledge of Java, PL/SQL & Linux.
- Experience on Calypso version 16.
- Hands-on experience in Calypso Back office functionalities:

- Understanding of financial assets (FX, money market, cash) and trade lifecycle.
