**Job Description**:
**Your Impact**

You will be part of a Global DevOps/SRE team who will play a significant role in the definition and implementation of the AWS, Docker and Kubernetes platform strategy, HA/ DR, including architecture, design, roadmaps, and enabling various apps to adopt such technologies.

You will:

- Work in a collaborative culture with Dev and App owners in an agile methodology, scrums.
- Attend scrums and work closely with Dev Teams to achieve desired product objectives.
- Resolve JIRA tickets in the areas of Cloud, CI/CD, deployments, monitoring, etc.
- Challenge the status quo to bring new ideas and innovation to the team.
- Be responsible for on-going maintenance and support of internal tools, improving system health and reliability.
- Document and provide cross-training to peers for projects and products worked on.
- Participate in on-call rotations, but no shifts.
- Ensure service uptimes and maintain the SLA driven uptime.

**Qualifications**:
**Your Experience**
- BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with AWS and/or GCP.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker containers, and Helm charts.
- Strong experience with CI/CD automation using GitLab.
- Significant experience with scripting using Python in DevOps / SRE areas.
- Understanding API’s, microservices concepts.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, Terraform.
- Experience with Monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Experience conducting code reviews, demos, proof of concept solutions, etc.
- Strong Linux Systems knowledge.
- Strong understanding of Java based systems.
- Distributed database knowledge is preferred.
