**WSH Co-ordinator cum Environmental Control Officers**:
**(WSHC cum ECO)**:
**Requirements**:
1. WSHC certification and registered with MOM; and

2. ECO certification and registered with NEA; and

3. Min 3 years construction work experience

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
1. Advise and assist Project Manager on implementation of EHS policies, rules, practices and procedures. Implement and monitor of environmental management systems

2. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all Safety Legislation by MOM and its subsidiary Legislation and in-house rules, update all staff for any changes to MOM requirement

3. Prepare weekly environment report

4. Work closely with project team to ensure the compliance of worksite HSW plans, policies and control procedures

5. Responsible for all matters related to environmental & health issues

6. Maintaining and continual improvement of EHS Management Systems at site

7. Monitor and advise daily toolbox talks

8. Review and approval of Permit to Works for high risks construction activities

9. Organising EHS Training and Promotional Programs

10. Developing, implementing and maintaining EHS policies, programs & procedures

11. Enforcement of in-house safety rules and regulations

12. Developing, implementing and maintaining Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans and testing plan

13. Coordination of external third party EHS audits

14. Develop & review Risk Assessment for various activities

15. Conduct safety induction training for new employees and contract workers

16. Perform the duties of a Safety Assessor, recognised by MOM for the certification of entry into confined space & etc

17. Organise weekly safety assessment and compile the findings and take necessary action to close the issues

18. Organise weekly safety inspection with contractor safety and supervisory personnel

19. Organise monthly mass toolbox talks

20. Provide technical guidance and consultation on development and implementation of safety standards & management systems

21. Conduct safety inspection & hazard identification for the various activities

22. Coordinate internal & external audit Safety Management System, ISO & GGBS audits

23. Organise and promote safety awareness activities & accident prevention programs, such as safety competition, safety quiz, mass safety campaign & etc

24. Accident/Incident Investigation & Analysis

25. Participate & attend implementation contractor’s safety meetings, promotions and suggest for improvement

26. Plan and execute emergency plan for emergencies, such as fire, explosion, oil pollution and rescue of injured personnel

27. Planning, Procurement, Inspection, Maintenance and issue of PPE’s

28. Playing roles as Secretary in safety committee meeting

29. Compile proper Accident records & statistic, investigate accident near miss

30. Response to emergency situation

31. Conduct and improve working at Heigh System, hazard identification and near miss reporting

32. To work closely with the project manager for the site and related teams

33. Take action for any unsafely practices by worker, including education, warning and impose fines
